I'll start it off...
The highlight of my creations would be my Arduino-based digital MIDI synth, an ongoing project.
here's a little chiptune demo, all synthesized real-time, one take, by a single Arduino (sequenced on the mpc)

No external fx except for some compression for the pumping feel, sidechained by the synth's noise generator on the second of its two audio outputs.

My most recent project was a getlofi lofi fuzz clone, with a couple minor changes I added in.  Sounds sweet, can really make things gritty, especially for such a simple circuit.

I am very interested in getting into building my own stuff like this but I don't really know how to start. I'd love to create my own small distortion units or even oscilators.

Maybe you have some starter tips for us noobs just getting into this?

I've always wanted to make custom MIDI controllers... maybe something like a MIDI Fighter.
No idea where I'd even start with something like that, at least not without a bulky arduino unit attached to it.

I made this MIDI controller a while ago, it's really trashy and the drivers that I can use are really sketchy and I've basically stopped using it since then. Was a fun experiment, though.
